Frequently asked questions

We've combined some of our most asked questions to help you get started. You'll find more on our FAQ page, however, please get in touch if you have more specific requests.

1. How does myTomorrows help treating physicians?

myTomorrows supports treating physicians with efficient, state-of-the-art technology for identifying clinical trials and expanded access programs. Via our platform, physicians can refer a patient to a clinical trial, and we support them to directly get in contact with a trial site.   When applicable, our dedicated and medically trained site managers assist physicians in this process of ordering a drug under an expanded access program, ensuring personalized support.   Whether patients qualify for EAPs or clinical trials, our free services provide comprehensive assistance throughout the patient journey.  Learn more about our services to treating physicians.

2. How does myTomorrows help patients?

We empower patients and their physicians by offering a comprehensive overview on available options, whether it's participating in a clinical trial or considering an expanded access program.   Patients receive equal support – with a global reach, we provide referrals to trial sites and can support physicians with the expanded access application processes worldwide. To guide patients through this intricate process, our patient navigators act as a single point of contact throughout their entire journey. Learn more about how we help patients.

3. Why are our services free for patients and physicians?

We are dedicated to removing practical barriers for patients and physicians. That's why our services are always provided free of charge; they include:
  • offering information about clinical trials and expanded access programs.
  • supporting physicians with the expanded access application process worldwide.
We charge BioPharma companies for our services, which include supporting clinical trial recruitment and managing international expanded access programs, logistics, quality management, distribution, and real-world data collection.  For physicians and their patients, myTomorrows ensures free and agnostic access to information about all potential pre-approval options, regardless of our collaborations with BioPharma companies.

4. Is my patient’s data secure?

We treat all patient data highly confidentially and none is processed without your/their explicit consent. Our strict data policy restricts access to data to only qualified employees with direct operational responsibility for helping patients, and our platform and all our digital solutions are fully GDPR-compliant and ISO-27001 certified. More information is available in our privacy and cookie statements. Do you have a question around data privacy, data processing, or data protection? Please reach out to dataprotection@mytomorrows.com.

5. What is the difference between a clinical trial and an expanded access program?

The main difference between a clinical trial and an expanded access program is that the intention of a clinical trial is to conduct research to test safety and efficacy of a new drug, while the intention of an expanded access program is for a physician to provide treatment to their patient with an unmet medical need. Both clinical trials and expanded access programs have eligibility criteria to determine who can participate.    However, the criteria of expanded access programs usually allow for a broader group of patients. This means that a patient who is not eligible for a clinical trial might be able to access a new drug via an expanded access program. Patients who enroll in expanded access programs are often the sickest patients who have exhausted other treatment options.
